Ingredients
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°
Score ham into diamonds and stud each diamond with a whole clove. Arrange ham on a rack in a roasting pan. Tent with aluminum foil.
Bake on middle rack 1-1/2 hours.
Meanwhile, in small saucepan over medium heat, cook apple jelly and cider, stirring occasionally, 4 to 5 minutes or until blended and thickened.
Remove from heat and whisk in mustard.
Remove foil and brush ham generously with glaze. Bake an additional 30 to 35 minutes.
Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.
Twist on a classic: add ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon, ¼ cup maple syrup and 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves to the small saucepan with apple jelly. Cook as above. For a festive look, garnish ham with fresh herbs and apple quarters dusted with cinnamon.
