Lucille’s Tri Tip (Raw)

Perfect for smoking, it’s a whole ‘nother level of tender.


1. Coat pan with olive oil and place in pan over direct heat.
2. Sear for about 10 minutes, or until bottom is brown.
3. Flip tri tip, and cover pan.
4. After 20 minutes, insert meat thermometer into thickest area of meat, until it reads 135°F.
5. Let tri tip sit at least 15 minutes before serving.
