French Toast Roll Ups

  • 1 8 oz package FARMER JOHN MAPLE SAUSAGE LINKS
  • 8 slices of white bread
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tsp unsalted butter
  • 4 oz Maple syrup or agave 
  • Dash of any hot sauce you prefer
  • Powdered sugar
  1. Cook breakfast links until nice and golden brown, set aside.
  2. Use a rolling pin to flatten the white bread, you want it good and flat for easy roll up.
  3. Place each sausage links in a flattened bread and roll it like a cigar, set aside.
  4. Whisk eggs with the heavy cream & salt until completely mixed
  5. Heat up the same pan that you were using for the sausage links on medium heat.
  6. Add butter to the pan and let it melt.
  7. Dip sausage roll ups into the egg/cream mixture, then place in the heated pan seam side down.
  8. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  9. Mix hot sauce in with maple syrup to taste
  10. Cover the roll ups with maple syrup and sprinkle with a dash of powdered sugar
