DIFFICULTY
Easy
  • (2) packages 14oz FARMER JOHN POLSKA KIELBASA, chopped in smaller pieces
  • 12 oz can tomato paste
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 Tbsp onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 TBsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground all spice
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp ground star anise
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 oz dark chocolate chips
  • 1 lb shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb (or more) Spaghetti pasta
  • Side of sour cream
  1. Combine broth and tomato paste using a whisk in a stock pot.
  2. Place chopped KIELBASA in the stock pot along with the rest of the spices, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Cook on medium heat for about 1 hour. Lower the heat once it comes to a boil, then keep stirring to avoid burning on the bottom of the pot.
  4. Half-way through cooking, add the chocolate and crush the KIELBASA using the back of spoon you were using to stir to create a “ground beef” look. Add 1/4 water or more if needed.
  5. Cook pasta according to directions while cooking your chili.
  6. Once the chili is cooked, add salt if needed.
  7. Place cooked pasta on a plate and top it off with chili, then plenty of cheese. Don’t be shy, it’s supposed to be full of cheese!
  8. Add sour cream if desired.
